I shan’t lie. Today I felt some relief, knowing that I wouldn’t have to be as sharp and on it about everything I put in my mouth. Soon, I will be able to relax at a restaurant, imbibe at a party, and bake something fer petessake!
But I also know better. I’m curious to see how these lessons will inform my decisions going forward. For more on that, tune in this week as I post some wrap-ups.
Breakfast: Chorizo-egg scramble. Coffee with coconut milk and cinnamon.
At the café: Pot of chamomile-mint tea.
Lunch: Leftover chicken soup.
Snack: Almond butter with banana and huckleberries.
Dinner: Roasted chicken quarters with masala spices. Salad with avocado, tomato, and mixed greens with lime juice and olive oil.
Celebratory Dessert: Handful of these weird raw vegan crackers made with ginger, coconut, sesame seeds, and dates.
